Contains all the exercises for use in all phases of training when asked to perform plyometrics. There are three (3) different Plyo Circuits, all designed for a different purpose.
Jump training exercises where muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time with the goal of increasing power (speed-strength). Focus is learning to move from a muscle extension to a contraction in a rapid or “explosive” manner.
While plyo exercises show benefits in reducing lower-extremity injuries, there is also an increased risk of injury due to the high forces generated during the exercise.
Should ONLY be performed by well-conditioned athletes under supervision, and must have adequate rest periods in between exercise bouts.
